Axillary Subclavian Vein Thrombosis

Spontaneous or effort-related thrombosis of the axillosubclavian vein, termed Paget- Schroetter syndrome, most commonly afflicting young, otherwise healthy, individuals. However in last 2 decades due to complex medical problems there is a constant increase in usage of central venous lines resulting in a paralel increase in subclavian vein thrombosis.
